KOT ADDU โ€“ A horrifying accident on Layyah Road claimed the lives of five children early Monday morning. The victims were on their way to school when a speeding trailer collided with two motorcycles.

Local officials reported that the trailer struck the motorcycles at high speed, killing all five children on the spot. Rescue teams and Sarwar Shaheed City Police rushed to the scene and transported the victims to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. Authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the fatal incident.

The deceased have been identified as Abdullah (5) and Abdur Rahman (7), brothers; Abdul Basit (17) and Dua Fatima, siblings; and Muhammad Adil (16). All were residents of Chak No. 560 in the Layyah district.

The accident has left the community in shock and deep mourning. Residents expressed outrage over the recurring traffic accidents on Layyah roads and are calling for strict enforcement of traffic laws. Many demand immediate action to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Local authorities have stated that the investigation will examine the speed of the trailer and whether proper safety regulations were followed. Officials also promised to enhance traffic monitoring on Layyah Road to improve road safety.
