Pakistani actor and TV personality Irtiza Rubab, known by her stage name Meera, has reported a significant theft of valuable jewelry and a high-priced watch from her residence in Lahore. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, prompted the renowned ‘Baaji’ star to escalate the matter by filing a formal complaint with the Defence police.
Meera alleges that while she was away, her home was targeted, resulting in the disappearance of two sets of diamonds, a wristwatch, and various other pieces of jewelry. Expressing distress over the incident, the 46-year-old actress pointed towards one of her domestic workers as the potential culprit behind the theft of her prized personal belongings.
Detailing the sequence of events, Meera, using her real name Irtaza Rabab, informed the Defence police that upon her return from a late-night shopping excursion around midnight, she made the startling discovery of her missing jewelry, specifically noting the absence of two diamond sets and a valuable wristwatch.
Moreover, she emphasized the absence of one of her workers, identified as Qasim, during her return, highlighting the unavailability of Qasim via phone communication.

With the estimated worth of the stolen jewelry and watches soaring to Rs10 million, Meera fervently urged law enforcement authorities to swiftly apprehend the accused individual and retrieve the pilfered items.
In response to the complaint, the police have initiated thorough search operations in a bid to locate the suspected worker, Qasim, who is currently evading capture and remains at large.
Meera, a veteran figure in Pakistani showbiz since her debut in 1995, has enjoyed a significant career trajectory. She gained widespread acclaim, particularly for her lead role in the 1999 film “Khilona,” cementing her pivotal role in the illustrious era of Lollywood during the 90s. Her contributions to the industry have solidified her status as a prominent and influential figure in Pakistani entertainment.
