Aleem Khan Condemns Attack on Rangers, Police Officials in Islamabad

Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the tragic incident on Srinagar Highway, where Rangers personnel were crushed by a vehicle during clashes with PTI protesters. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of several Rangers and police officers, while more than a hundred others were injured, some critically.

In his statement, Aleem Khan condemned the violent actions of the protesters, which led to the deaths of four Rangers personnel and Constable Mubashir, expressing his heartfelt condolences to the affected families. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and a swift recovery for the injured officers, acknowledging the daily sacrifices made by law enforcement officers to maintain peace and security.

The attack has sparked widespread outrage, as PTI protesters reportedly rammed a vehicle into the security personnel, injuring many and further escalating tensions. The violence has left the city’s security forces reeling, with over a hundred police officers also injured in the clashes.

The President of the Insaf Professionals Wing (IPP) has also condemned the attacks, calling for accountability and justice for those responsible for the violence.
