National hero Arshad Nadeem returned to Lahore today from South Korea after clinching the gold medal in the javelin throw at the Asian Athletics Championships.
He received a warm and enthusiastic welcome at Allama Iqbal International Airport, greeted by his father Muhammad Ashraf, family members, friends, and a large crowd of supporters.

Speaking to reporters, his father expressed immense pride in Arshad’s achievement, stating, “My son has once again brought pride to our family.” He also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for ensuring Arshad had access to top-notch training facilities.
He highlighted that Arshad’s dedication and perseverance continue to inspire and make the nation proud.
Arshad’s return was accompanied by fellow Pakistani athletes Yasir Sultan and Shajar Abbas.
