Balochistan security forces have continued operations against the Fitna al-Hindustan group, successfully targeting militants across the province. Over the past three days, authorities have reported that 177 terrorists were killed in coordinated actions.
During a follow-up operation last night, additional terrorists were neutralised. Security sources confirmed that cordon-and-search operations are ongoing to eliminate remaining militants and their facilitators. Further casualties among terrorists and their supporters are expected as operations continue.
A wave of coordinated terrorist attacks struck several districts, including Quetta, Gwadar, Mastung, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan, and Pasni. The attacks involved gunmen and suicide bombers, targeting civilians and government infrastructure.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti addressed the media in Quetta, highlighting the security forcesโ response. He said intelligence reports had indicated preparations for the attacks. The chief minister stated that security forces showed bravery and eliminated 145 terrorists during Saturdayโs operations.
Bugti condemned the terroristsโ attacks, saying they killed five women and three children in Gwadar. He described these acts as brutal assaults on innocent civilians. The chief minister emphasized that the government will continue efforts to eliminate militants threatening public safety.
He also expressed solidarity with families of martyrs, promising support for the welfare and upbringing of the children of those killed in the attacks. The government assured citizens that it remains committed to protecting lives and maintaining law and order.
Security forces are continuing to track down Fitna al-Hindustan members and their networks. Operations aim to eliminate remaining militants and prevent future attacks across Balochistan. Authorities warn that the campaign will persist until all threats are neutralised.
The chief minister further accused foreign elements of attempting to destabilize Pakistan. He said terrorists operating at the behest of India are being confronted decisively by local forces.
With persistent operations, Balochistan security forces are focused on eliminating terrorist networks, ensuring safety for civilians, and restoring stability in the region.
