On December 20, security forces uncovered a facility for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during an intelligence-driven operation in Kharan, Balochistan, officials revealed.
The operation, carried out by Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, led to the discovery of a site used for producing explosives. During the raid, authorities seized a motorcycle loaded with 30 kilograms of explosives.

Two suspects were injured in a gunfight with security personnel, and various weapons and materials were confiscated. The motorcycle, believed to be intended for use in Kharan, was among the items seized. Additional contraband and firearms were also recovered.
The operation was executed based on reliable intelligence, with a specific focus on the Kharan urban area. Security forces are maintaining their efforts to uphold peace and security in the region.
