The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan announced that the Bangladeshi airline Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been issued a three-month license. The license is valid until March 30, 2026, allowing the airline to use Pakistanโs airspace on the approved route.
Officials said this step will strengthen air connectivity between the two countries. Passengers traveling between Pakistan and Bangladesh now have more travel options, improving convenience and accessibility.
Earlier, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed that Norse Atlantic, a UK-based airline, will start direct flights to Islamabad from London, Manchester, and Birmingham. This highlights Pakistanโs ongoing efforts to boost international air traffic and strengthen global airline partnerships.

Authorities stated that this corridor will play a critical role in regional trade and logistics.
The CAA emphasized that the three-month license for the Bangladeshi airline is part of Pakistanโs broader efforts to expand air connectivity. Officials are exploring long-term agreements to allow more frequent flights and broader international partnerships.
Travel experts believe the direct flights will benefit both business and leisure travelers. It is expected to strengthen tourism, cultural exchange, and trade relations between the two nations.
