Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan’s mother has passed away, he announced through his social media account.
Barrister Gohar also shared details of the funeral prayer, saying it would be offered at 4pm today in Dagar village, Buner district.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over her death and extended condolences to the PTI chairman and his family.
The prime minister, who was in Madina Munawwara, prayed for the deceased and for strength and patience for the bereaved family.
“Our sympathies are with Barrister Gohar Ali and his family,” the prime minister said.
He prayed that Allah Almighty elevate the deceased’s ranks and grant patience to her family during the difficult time.
Funeral Prayer in Buner
According to the details shared by Barrister Gohar, his mother’s funeral prayer is scheduled for 4pm in Dagar village in Buner district.
Barrister Gohar belongs to Buner and currently serves as chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
The announcement prompted condolences for the PTI leader and his family, including the message issued by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
PM Shehbaz Offers Condolences
Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his sympathies to Barrister Gohar and his family while in Madina Munawwara.
The prime minister prayed for the deceased and asked Allah Almighty to grant patience to the bereaved family.
Barrister Gohar’s announcement provided the funeral time and location, allowing relatives, colleagues and others wishing to attend the funeral prayer to know the arrangements.
