Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore will announce the Class 9 annual Results on September 2, 2026. Students from other educational boards across Punjab are also expected to receive their results on the same date.
According to the announced schedule, the result will be available at 10:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time. The examination covers the 2025-26 academic session and carries a total of 550 marks.
BISE Lahore covers students from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib districts.
BISE Lahore Class 9 Result Date and Time
The SSC Part 1 annual examination result is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Students will be able to check their Results from 10:00 AM.

The online result portal provides one of the easiest ways to check marks.
Students should visit the official BISE Lahore website after the announcement. They can then select the SSC Part 1 Annual Examination 2026 result option.
Candidates must enter their correct roll number and submit the information.
The result and available marks will then appear on the screen. Students should carefully check their roll numbers before submitting the request.
Check Class 9 Results Through SMS
BISE Lahore also provides an SMS option for students without reliable internet access.
Candidates can open their mobile messaging application and type their roll number. The roll number should be entered without unnecessary spaces or dashes.
Students can then send it to 800291. The board will send the available result information through an SMS response.
This option may be useful if the official website becomes slow due to heavy traffic.
Check BISE Lahore Result Through Gazette
Students will also be able to access the result through the official gazette. The gazette PDF is expected to become available following the result announcement on September 2.
Students can search the document using their roll number or other available information.
Punjab Boards Class 9 Result SMS Codes
Students appearing under other Punjab boards must use their respective SMS codes.
The Lahore Board code is 800291, while Gujranwala students can use 800299. Rawalpindi Board candidates can send their roll numbers to 800296.
The codes for Multan and Sahiwal are 800293 and 800292, respectively. Faisalabad students can use 800240, while Sargodha candidates can use 800290.
DG Khan and Bahawalpur students can use 800295 and 800298, respectively.
New Update for Students Seeking Improvement
Students who fail subjects or want better marks are also set to see a change.
They will not need to immediately appear in a separate second annual examination. Instead, they will get another opportunity alongside new Class 9 candidates next year.
Candidates will be examined under the same syllabus and scheme used for their original examinations. The change provides another route for students seeking improvement or clearing unsuccessful subjects.
Punjab Plans Examination System Reforms
The Punjab government is also preparing broader reforms for the examination system.
One proposal aims to introduce greater uniformity across all nine educational boards.
Question papers are expected to follow common standards for difficulty and quality. Authorities are also considering systematic analysis of subject-wise student performance.
A new examiner reporting system is also under consideration.
The proposed reforms include improved training for paper checkers and super-checkers. Officials are also considering better facilities and standardised payments for examiners.
An online payment mechanism is planned to make payments faster after marking is completed.
The government is also considering changes to matriculation and intermediate result schedules. Officials say these reforms are intended to improve transparency and consistency.
