Pakistan’s cement industry has shown significant growth, with exports rising by nearly 25% during the first ten months of the fiscal year 2024-25. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), cement exports reached $253.711 million, compared to $204.546 million during the same period last year.
In terms of quantity, the country exported over 7.1 million metric tons of cement, a 34.51% increase from the previous year’s 5.3 million metric tons. This surge highlights growing global demand for Pakistani cement and stronger performance by local manufacturers.

However, the trend dipped slightly on a yearly basis in April 2025, with a 5.70% drop compared to April 2024. Exports stood at $23.644 million in April this year, down from $25.074 million last year.
On a brighter note, April 2025 saw a 7.45% increase in cement exports compared to March 2025, indicating a possible rebound in monthly trade performance.
