A couple, exiled from Bajaur due to their love marriage, was shot dead in Karachi. The tragic incident took place in the Old City Area near Napier Police Station, where both victims, a man and a woman, were gunned down.
Police confirmed the killings were linked to their decision to marry against family wishes.

On Thursday, the couple was targeted by armed assailants near Meva Shah Mosque. The male victim, Atallah, was identified as the son of Pir Muhammad Khan, while the woman was later confirmed to be Rahadia, also known as Sumerin, daughter of Mohammad Gul.
The couple, originally from Bajaur, had been forced into exile for their love marriage. After relocating from Lahore to Karachi, they had been staying in Lyari and later rented a house near Meva Shah Mosque.
On the day of the incident, they were shot while traveling in a rickshaw from a shopping mall near Clifton Sea View.
The police are investigating the case based on the statement of Atallah’s cousin, who confirmed the couple had been exiled by a jirga.
