Police have made progress in the murder case of TikToker Shamsoo Bibi, also known as Ayesha. Investigators now believe the killing was allegedly linked to honour.
Shamsoo Bibi was shot dead in Taxila on August 14. Her sister and brother were also seriously injured in the attack.
Police have arrested two alleged shooters in connection with the incident. Investigators reportedly traced the suspects using modern technology and CCTV footage.
The footage shows two motorcyclists opening fire at a car. Shamsoo Bibi suffered a gunshot wound to her neck during the attack.
She died at the scene from her injuries. Her siblings were injured and later received medical treatment.
A murder and attempted murder case was initially registered at Taxila police station. Police have now begun adding the relevant legal provision for honour killing.

Police further claimed that the victim’s father and brother were present during the alleged planning. These claims remain part of the ongoing investigation.
