Among Gulf currencies, the UAE dirham was quoted at Rs76.45 for buying and Rs77.1 for selling. The Saudi Riyal stood at Rs74.75 and Rs75.35, respectively. Other notable currencies included the Canadian dollar at Rs201.1 buying and Rs204.1 selling, and the Australian dollar at Rs185 buying and Rs188 selling.
The Kuwaiti dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies globally, remained strong at Rs911 in buying and Rs921 for selling. Bahrain Dinar traded at Rs743.35 buying and Rs753.35 selling, while the Swiss franc stood at Rs346.7 buying and Rs349.45 selling.
Asian currencies showed moderate stability as well. The Chinese yuan was at Rs39.35 buying and Rs39.75 selling, while the Japanese yen traded at Rs1.79 buying and Rs1.89 selling. The Indian rupee was quoted at Rs3.07 buying and Rs3.16 selling.
Currency Exchange Rates for other currencies also showed slight variations. The Malaysian ringgit traded at Rs67.35 buying and Rs67.95 selling, the New Zealand dollar at Rs159 buying and Rs161 selling, and the Norwegian krone at Rs27.45 buying and Rs27.75 selling.
Overall, the foreign exchange market remained stable, with key currencies maintaining their positions against the Pakistani rupee. Analysts expect continued firm trading in the near term as international economic conditions remain steady.
