Motorway police have urged drivers to avoid non-essential travel. They warned that hazardous conditions caused by the fog could last for several hours. Commuters are advised to follow traffic updates and check flight schedules before traveling.
The sudden onset of dense fog has brought daily life to a virtual standstill. Motorists are advised to drive slowly, use headlights, and maintain safe distances. Emergency services are on high alert to respond to any accidents or traffic incidents.
