DUBAI: Emirates has once again earned major recognition at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East Awards. The airline won the top title of Best Airline Worldwide, along with Best First Class and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.
The Business Traveller Middle East Awards are among the region’s most respected travel industry honors. Winners are selected through nominations and votes by readers of Business Traveller Middle East.
The awards were accepted by Adnan Kazim on behalf of Emirates.
These achievements highlight the airline’s focus on improving customer experience both in the air and on the ground. Emirates continues to invest heavily in its fleet and services to maintain its global reputation.
The airline is currently upgrading 219 aircraft, including Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 planes, under its refurbishment program. At the same time, new Airbus A350 deliveries are being added to its fleet.
The upgraded aircraft and new A350 planes now serve more than 70 Emirates destinations worldwide. The airline’s network currently covers nearly 140 destinations.
Emirates is widely known for its premium First Class service. Passengers enjoy private suites, luxury dining, unlimited caviar, and premium products from brands like Bulgari and Byredo.
The experience also includes shower spas and onboard lounges on the Airbus A380. Premium travelers can also access chauffeur-drive services in almost 90 destinations.
The airline’s First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport was named Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East. The lounge offers fine dining, spa treatments, shopping, and direct boarding access.
Emirates is also expanding its technology services. The airline has introduced Starlink internet on board. So far, 36 aircraft have been equipped with high-speed connectivity.
Later this year, Emirates will launch a new daily route to Helsinki. This will become the only year-round direct connection between Finland and the UAE.
