ISLAMABAD – Former ISI Chief Faiz Hameed is under investigation after gifting a luxury car to the son of former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar. The recovered vehicle has raised questions about potential influence and high-level connections.
Authorities say Faiz Hameed allegedly received two luxury cars from the owner of Top City and gifted them to Saqib Nisar and his son. The car given to the Chief Justice’s son is now part of a high-profile investigation. Officials are scrutinizing the circumstances surrounding the gift and its implications.
Colonel (R) Inam-ur-Rahim revealed that Faiz Hameed maintained contact with numerous suspects during the May 9 incidents. Several individuals, including YouTubers, were reportedly hiding at his farmhouse. Faiz communicated with them before, during, and after the events, according to investigators.
Sources indicate that Faiz frequently changed his mobile SIM cards to avoid detection. However, all calls were logged into the army’s recording system within 15–20 minutes, capturing his communications. Investigators also seized his laptop and mobile devices, uncovering sensitive documents and evidence of continuous contact with PTI leaders.
The materials included handwritten tweets and content intended for YouTube programs. Shockingly, Faiz Hameed had carefully filed this evidence, which is now part of the case against him. During a summary trial, he reportedly admitted to the recovered items.
