The Federal Investigation Agency continues its internal accountability process across Pakistan. Under the supervision of Director General FIA, Riffat Mukhtar Raja, strict measures are being enforced. An orderly room was held at FIA Headquarters in Islamabad to review cases of misconduct.
During the proceedings, several officers were found guilty of violations. As a result, **disciplinary action against ** officials was approved after a detailed review. The cases involved corruption, misuse of authority, and breach of discipline.
ASI Noman Khalid was dismissed from service. He enrolled in an overseas education program without a required No Objection Certificate. Lady Constable Sajida Parveen was also dismissed for remaining absent from duty. Book Binder Amber Jabeen faced dismissal for abusing authority and accepting bribes.
Naib Qasid Kashif Hameed was removed from service due to unapproved absence. Constable Ubaid Ibrahim faced **disciplinary action against ** his promotion. His promotion was stopped for two years due to harassment of a citizen.
Staff car driver Naveed Qamar received a final warning. He failed to report for duty after his approved leave ended. Constable Jamal Mohiuddin was issued a warning for not joining a training course on time. Two other officials were also warned for absence from duty and training sessions.
DG FIA Riffat Mukhtar Raja stated that accountability remains a top priority. He said the aim is to ensure compliance with legal and professional standards. He stressed that corruption and misuse of authority will not be tolerated.
The FIA spokesperson said **disciplinary action against ** negligent officials helps maintain transparency. The spokesperson added that officers involved in illegal activities face strict punishment. Those found careless are dealt with according to service rules.
Citizens were encouraged to report complaints against FIA officials. Complaints can be submitted through the FIA Helpline at 051-111-345-786. Emails can also be sent to complaints@fia.gov.pk.
The FIA says accountability strengthens public trust. The department plans to continue strict monitoring to improve performance and integrity.
