Four Found Dead in Car on M2 Motorway Near Bhera, Punjab

Motorway Police reported that at least four people were found dead in a car parked along the M2 Motorway near Bhera. A fifth individual was discovered unconscious.

The incident came to light during routine patrols when officers observed the vehicle stationary on the roadside. Upon investigation, they found the five individuals in a semi-conscious state and quickly transported them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Bhera for medical treatment.

At the hospital, doctors confirmed that Romila (60), Mahwish (30), Samar (28), and Aun (4) had died, while Umar Qasim (30) remains in critical condition.

The victims, all members of the same family from Lahore, were on their way to Islamabad when the incident occurred.

Preliminary indications suggest that food poisoning might be the cause of death. Medical professionals are examining this possibility as part of their investigation.

The Bhera police, from the Phulrowan police station, have arrived at the hospital and are conducting an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the deaths.
