Pakistan has introduced a new one-window system for Hajj 2026 pilgrims, offering a big relief in completing pre-departure procedures.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced that essential services, including training, vaccination, documentation, and travel arrangements, will now be provided under one roof. Officials said this initiative is designed to save time and reduce costs for pilgrims, providing a big relief for those preparing for Hajj.
Under this system, approximately 119,000 pilgrims will receive all necessary services at designated Hajj camps. These services include mandatory vaccinations, training sessions, visa processing, air ticket issuance, identification lockets, baggage tagging, and basic medical checks.
The second phase of the Hajj 2026 operation will begin this Wednesday. Camps will be functional in 10 major cities: Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Umar Butt, spokesperson for the Ministry, confirmed that vaccination schedules and training details have been uploaded to the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims are advised to bring their original national identity card and a computerised bank receipt with a photograph when visiting Hajj camps.
Officials emphasized that the new system will streamline all Hajj procedures, making the process simpler and faster. The launch of this one-window operation is expected to provide a big relief to thousands of pilgrims and their families, ensuring smoother preparation for the sacred journey.
The initiative also highlights Pakistan’s commitment to modernizing public services and using technology to improve convenience for citizens. Pilgrims and families have welcomed the program, expressing optimism about its efficiency and transparency.
