HEC Announces Fully Funded BS Scholarships in Pakistan - Apply Now

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has announced fully funded BS Scholarships for students from Central Asia and other friendly countries. The scholarships are being offered under the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship for Central Asia and Friendly Countries.

According to HEC, the BS Scholarships are available for undergraduate studies at selected universities across Pakistan. The initiative aims to strengthen educational cooperation and provide international students with access to quality higher education.

Applications for the scholarship program are now open. Interested candidates must submit their applications before the deadline of August 10, 2026.

HEC said the scholarship program will cover major educational and living expenses for successful applicants. The fully funded package is designed to reduce the financial burden on students throughout their degree program.

Under the scholarship, selected students will receive full tuition fee coverage. The program also includes free accommodation at the host institution and a monthly stipend to support daily living expenses.

In addition, the scholarship provides one return airfare during the degree program. Students will also receive one-time settlement support to help them adjust after arriving in Pakistan.

The BS Scholarships are available in a wide range of academic disciplines. Students can apply for programs in Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology, Allied Health Sciences, Business and Economics, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Food Security, International Relations, Media Studies, and Languages.

HEC said the program offers opportunities for students with different academic interests. Applicants are encouraged to choose a field that matches their educational background and future career goals.

To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must have completed GCE A Levels or an equivalent qualification with at least 60 percent marks. Those applying for engineering programs must have secured at least 65 percent marks.

Selected applicants will also need to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Pakistan after receiving the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarship award.

HEC has advised applicants to carefully review all eligibility requirements before submitting their forms. Candidates should also prepare the required academic documents and supporting information in advance.

Applications can be submitted through the official HEC scholarship portal. Students should visit the HEC website and open the scholarship section to access the online application form and complete program details.

The commission has also urged applicants to read the instructions carefully. Information regarding eligibility criteria, required documents, participating universities, and the selection process is available on the official portal.

HEC encouraged eligible students from Central Asia and friendly countries to apply before the closing date. Officials said late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
