Imran Khan’s Sister Gets Permission to Meet Him at Adiala Jail

Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan received permission on Tuesday to meet the jailed former prime minister at Adiala Jail. The approval came at a time when security around the facility has been increased ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest announced by the party.

According to reports from Geo News, Uzma Khan has been officially informed that she will be allowed entry into the jail premises. She held consultations with Aleema Khan before leaving for the visit. Preparations continued throughout the morning as the sisters discussed the situation and the expected security measures.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan reached Factory Naka along with other family members. The road leading to Adiala Jail had already been blocked by police. Heavy police deployment, including female officers, was seen at the location. Anti-riot barriers and containers were also placed to restrict public movement and control any possible unrest.

Despite the strict blockade, Aleema and the other sisters attempted to walk towards the jail. However, police stopped them at the Gorakhpur checkpoint, which had been sealed as part of the heightened security plan. Officers instructed them to wait, as no one was allowed to move beyond the barrier without approval from senior officials.

The increased security measures come as PTI supporters prepare for a protest. Authorities have set up additional checkpoints around the area to prevent any disruption near the prison. Officials say the precautions are necessary to maintain order and ensure the safety of the facility.

Imran Khan’s sister Uzma is expected to meet him later in the day once the jail administration completes all verification procedures. The family has been trying to secure regular access to the PTI founder since his incarceration. The situation around Adiala Jail is being closely monitored, with police continuing to enforce strict controls.
