For the first time since former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s incarceration, his sons Suleman and Qasim Khan have publicly spoken out, urging the international community to apply pressure on Pakistan for his release. The brothers said they have exhausted all legal avenues and are now turning to global platforms for support.
In an interview with influencer Mario Nawfal, Qasim Khan described their father’s prison conditions as inhumane and claimed that even basic rights were being denied. “We never thought he would be in there a fraction of how long he’s been in there. And it’s only getting worse,” he said, calling for immediate global attention.

Suleman Khan added that despite earlier hopes for legal resolution, the issue has faded from international headlines. The family, he said, has not contacted US official Richard Grenell directly but appreciates his public support for Imran Khan’s release.
The brothers also called on world leaders, including former US President Donald Trump, to speak out in defense of democracy and human rights. “We’d love to speak to Trump or figure out a way where he could help,” Qasim stated.
