Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a ban on loudspeakers and fireworks across the city to reduce noise pollution and ensure public safety.
Authorities stated that the move aims to create a peaceful environment for residents, particularly in sensitive areas like hospitals, schools, and residential neighborhoods. Violators of the ban may face fines or legal action under existing city regulations.
CDA officials urged citizens to comply with the new restrictions, emphasizing that the ban will remain in effect until further notice. The decision also aligns with broader efforts to promote environmental protection and public well-being in the federal capital.
