The Islamabad district administration has ordered a complete ban on shisha cafes across the capital.

The Deputy Commissioner Islamabad issued directions to all assistant commissioners. The order covers cafes operating with valid no-objection certificates.

Under the new instructions, shisha cafes cannot operate at any location. The restriction applies to both indoor and outdoor areas.

The administration said the order would be enforced until further notice. Authorities have also instructed officials to monitor compliance closely.

Complete Ban Applies to Licensed Shisha Cafes

The complete ban also covers shisha cafes holding valid NOCs. This means approved establishments cannot continue shisha-related operations.

Assistant commissioners have been directed to conduct inspections every day. They must check cafes operating within their respective areas.

Officials have also been instructed to take action against violations. The administration stressed that enforcement should be carried out without discrimination.

The move gives district officials clear instructions for monitoring shisha cafes. It also removes any exemption based on existing NOCs.

Strict Action Against Violators

The district administration has warned cafe owners against violating the order.

Any establishment found operating in breach of the instructions will face strict action. Authorities said the violating cafe would be sealed.

A criminal case would also be registered against the owner. The administration has directed officials to take immediate action when violations are found.

Daily inspections are expected to help authorities enforce the complete ban. Assistant commissioners will be responsible for checking compliance in their areas.

The administration has not announced an end date for the restrictions. The measures will remain effective until further orders.

Order Remains Effective Until Further Notice

The complete ban represents a broader restriction on shisha cafe operations in Islamabad. It applies regardless of whether a cafe has an existing NOC.

Officials have been told to maintain regular checks across the capital. They will also be responsible for identifying establishments that ignore the instructions.

Cafe owners have been advised to follow the district administration’s directions. Failure to comply could result in sealing and criminal proceedings.

The administration’s latest instructions make enforcement a priority. Further changes will depend on future orders from the authorities.
