The Islamabad police have initiated a special program to seek public assistance in apprehending wanted criminals. Through this program, citizens of the federal capital will be informed about individuals on the capital police’s wanted list using social media platforms.
The program aims to engage residents of Islamabad by sharing details of individuals on Register No. 10 (Monitoring of Criminals), which includes information about proclaimed offenders and those involved in various criminal activities.

By disseminating this information on social media, the police intend to establish an open channel for keeping the public informed about potential threats and encourage active citizen participation in enhancing overall safety.
This initiative follows the launch of a mobile application by the capital police, allowing citizens to report various incidents and lodge complaints related to illegal activities, losses, accidents, unlawful residents, and criminal activities. Additionally, the recent introduction of smart cars equipped with advanced technology is another step by the Islamabad police to enhance law and order, providing comprehensive information about criminals and e-challan defaulters.
