A man has been arrested in Islamabad for allegedly raping a foreign woman over five days, according to News. The police apprehended the suspect, Tamizuddin, based on the victim’s identification and took him to Poly Clinic for a medical examination.
The accused denied the charges, claiming the woman, a 28-year-old Belgian national, is mentally ill. The police reported that the woman, who lacks identification or travel documents, is also undergoing a medical checkup at Poly Clinic. Investigators plan to search for her documents at the suspect’s residence.

In her initial statement, the victim stated she was sexually abused for five days.
This incident follows a similar case from June 8, where another foreign woman was allegedly raped by a security guard in Islamabad’s G-6/4 area.
The guard, assigned to protect the foreign national, fled after the assault, and police have since launched an investigation and search for the suspect.
