Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has laid the foundation for a new 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad.

This facility, designed to improve medical services for both the public and police officers, is a joint venture between a private Turkish company and the National Police Foundation (NPF).

At the inauguration, Naqvi shared that the Turkish company will finance the Rs. 5 billion project, with the NPF providing the land for the hospital.

The hospital will feature advanced medical services to meet the healthcare needs of the community and police force.

Naqvi highlighted that the primary beneficiaries will be police personnel and the families of martyrs, underscoring the NPF’s dedication to their welfare through raised funds. He also mentioned ongoing discussions about future collaborative projects with the Capital Development Authority.

Beyond the Islamabad hospital, Naqvi noted that the NPF has completed a housing project in Hyderabad and is working on redesigning the National Police Academy, reflecting its broader commitment to enhancing infrastructure and services for law enforcement throughout Pakistan.
