Karachi Board Announces Intermediate Science Part-I Results 2025

The Karachi Board has officially announced the results of the Intermediate Part-I Science General Group annual examinations for 2025. The results were revealed during a ceremony at the Inter Board Karachi committee room. Chairman of the Board, Fakir Muhammad Lakho, presided over the event, with Special Secretary of the Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Suhail Anwar Baloch, also present.

According to Controller of Examinations Zarina Rashid, a total of 19,212 candidates registered for the Science General Group examinations, while 18,813 students appeared. Out of these, 9,678 candidates passed all six papers. Meanwhile, 3,542 students passed five papers, 2,353 passed four papers, 1,405 passed three papers, 860 passed two papers, and 580 candidates passed one paper.

Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho highlighted a significant milestone for the Karachi Board, stating that, for the first time, the Mathematics paper for the Science General Group was evaluated using the e-marking system. The new system relies on a modern rubrics-based method, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and quality in assessments.

He added that the Karachi Board is taking continuous steps to modernize its examination processes. “This initiative reflects our commitment to adopting modern technology and maintaining fairness in evaluations,” Lakho said.

The chairman further revealed that more Intermediate examination papers will be evaluated using the e-marking system in the annual examinations of 2026. The step is aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing errors in grading.

The implementation of e-marking is part of the Karachi Board’s broader efforts to introduce technology-driven improvements in education. Officials believe this system will benefit both students and educators by ensuring timely results and more accurate evaluation.

Students who appeared in the Intermediate Part-I Science General Group examinations can now check their results online through the official Karachi Board website. Authorities have advised students to verify their marks and keep a copy for future reference.
