In Karachi’s Defence area, the family of a food delivery rider has granted a family pardon to the man who fatally hit him. The incident occurred on Khayaban-e-Ittehad when a speeding vehicle struck the rider, Farhan.
The accused, identified as Asghar Ali Bhangwar, was released by police shortly after the incident. Authorities have not formally briefed the media about his arrest or subsequent release.
According to reports, both Farhan and the driver, Hassan, were taken to a local hospital immediately. Farhan later died from his injuries during treatment.
