The government has officially announced February 5 as a public holiday for Kashmir Day 2026. All public and private offices will remain closed to observe the day. A one-minute silence will be held at 10:00 am to honor the brave Kashmiri martyrs.

The Sindh government has also issued its own notification, confirming that provincial offices, local councils, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, and corporations under its control will remain closed. Essential services, however, will continue to operate as usual.
