Khush Aamdeed Services have been formally launched at Islamabad International Airport to improve facilities and assistance for passengers.
The new service aims to make airport journeys more convenient through dedicated support and priority facilities.
Federal Secretary of Defence retired Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali formally inaugurated the service at the airport. Senior officials from the federal government, aviation and tourism sectors also attended the inauguration ceremony.
The initiative was launched in line with the vision outlined by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Khush Aamdeed Services Begin at Islamabad Airport
Passengers travelling from Islamabad to Madina were among the first to use the new meet-and-assist facility. Under the programme, passengers can receive assistance during different stages of their journey through the airport.
The service includes priority check-in to help passengers complete airline procedures more conveniently. Passengers can also receive assistance while going through security clearance at the airport.
Personalised support is another feature available under the programme. These facilities aim to provide passengers with a smoother and more organized airport experience.
Premium Lounge and Transport Facilities
The Khush Aamdeed Services will also offer premium facilities through different packages.
Passengers can access premium airport lounges under available service options.
Airport pick-up and drop-off facilities will also be offered through selected packages. These services are designed for passengers seeking additional assistance before or after their flights.
The Pakistan Airports Authority has licensed KhushAamdeed to provide the service. Operations have initially started at Islamabad International Airport.
However, the company plans to gradually expand its services to other airports across Pakistan.
Focus on Passenger Experience
Air Marshal retired Arshad Malik, CEO of KhushAamdeed, highlighted the importance of passengers’ first impressions. He said airports often provide international visitors with their first experience of Pakistan.
According to Malik, the service aims to reflect warmth, organization and professional care for travellers. The initiative also seeks to improve the overall passenger experience at the country’s airports.
Security and Passenger Facilitation
Federal Secretary of Defence Muhammad Ali also addressed security and passenger convenience during the launch.
He said strong security and quality passenger services can operate together effectively. According to him, proper coordination, standard operating procedures and trained staff can help achieve both objectives.
The newly launched Khush Aamdeed Services combine passenger assistance with existing airport security procedures. The programme currently operates at Islamabad International Airport, with expansion planned across Pakistan.
Its introduction represents a new effort to provide organized meet-and-assist facilities for domestic and international travellers.
