Security forces successfully prevented a lethal assault on a Frontier Corps Headquarters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand district by killing four suicide bombers, the military’s media wing reported on Saturday.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the militants were eliminated early on Friday as they attempted to attack the FC HQ. The ISPR noted that the security forces effectively blocked the attackers, ensuring that all four bombers were neutralized before they could inflict any damage.

The ISPR announced that a sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. They praised the security forces for their bravery and determination in combating terrorism.
In a separate incident, five terrorists were killed during a clash with security forces at the Surkhab refugee camp in Pishin district, where a large cache of weapons was also recovered, according to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
During a Defence Day ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his government’s steadfast commitment to fighting terrorism. He vowed to persist with operations against Fitna-al-Khwarij until they are completely eradicated, emphasizing national consensus on the ongoing efforts.
