Kidnapped Toddler Recovered in Jacobabad as Karachi Businessman Robbed of Rs1.8 Million

Police in Karachi successfully recovered a kidnapped six-month-old toddler during a targeted operation, officials confirmed. The infant, identified as Zehra, was found in Jacobabad after investigators tracked down the suspect.

According to police officials, the case of the kidnapped child was first registered at Shah Latif Town Police Station in Karachi. The complaint was filed soon after the toddler went missing.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Investigation) said the investigation team quickly launched a search operation. Authorities used technical surveillance and human intelligence to locate the kidnapped child.

During the operation, police arrested a suspect named Ghulam Mustafa. He was already named in the First Information Report (FIR) related to the kidnapped toddler case.

Officials confirmed that the child was safely recovered during the operation. The toddler was later handed over to her family after completing the necessary legal procedures.

Police said the successful recovery highlights the importance of coordinated investigation methods. Technical monitoring and information from sources helped officers identify the suspect’s location.

Authorities added that the investigation is still ongoing. Further inquiries are being conducted to determine if more individuals were involved in the kidnapped child case.

In a separate incident in Karachi, a businessman was robbed of a large amount of cash in New Karachi. The robbery occurred in Sector 5 while the victim was traveling to his factory.

According to the police report, the businessman was carrying more than Rs1.8 million at the time of the incident. He was riding a motorcycle when three armed suspects approached him on another motorcycle.

The robbers intercepted the victim and forced him to stop. They took the cash, his motorcycle, and a valuable mobile phone.

The victim told police that the attackers fired two shots during the robbery. The gunfire was intended to frighten him and prevent resistance.

After committing the robbery, the suspects quickly escaped from the scene. A case related to the robbery has been registered at the New Karachi Industrial Area Police Station.

Police officials said investigations are underway to trace the suspects involved in the robbery. Authorities are reviewing available evidence and security footage to identify the attackers.
