PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has proposed a new healthcare facility for government employees.
The facility will be introduced under the Sehat Card Plus programme. The proposal was discussed during a meeting chaired by KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.
The meeting reviewed different measures to improve the Sehat Card Plus programme. Officials discussed ways to make the programme more organised and sustainable.
Several important proposals were presented during the meeting. These included expanding coverage for expensive medical treatments under the Sehat Card.
Officials also discussed increasing service rates for healthcare providers. Another proposal focused on introducing a top-up health package for government employees.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said health and education remain major priorities for the provincial government. He linked these priorities with the vision of PTI founder Imran Khan.

The meeting also focused on preventing the misuse of the Sehat Card facility. The chief minister directed authorities to take effective steps against possible misuse.
