Lahore Electric Supply Company has announced a scheduled electricity shutdown in parts of Lahore on Sunday, September 20.

The outage will continue for six hours due to essential work on two development projects.

According to LESCO, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8:00am until 2:00pm in the affected areas.

The planned Power shutdown is linked to ongoing work at Data Darbar and Kacheri Road.

Which Lahore Feeders Will Be Affected?

LESCO said two feeders connected to the Bhatti Gate Grid Station will be temporarily suspended.

These include the Urdu Bazaar feeder and the Kacheri Road feeder.

Consumers receiving electricity through these feeders may experience an interruption throughout the scheduled six-hour period.

The shutdown will begin at 8:00am and is expected to end at 2:00pm.

LESCO said the interruption is necessary to facilitate essential work connected with the development projects.

Residents Advised to Prepare for Power Outage

LESCO has advised residents and businesses in affected locations to prepare before the electricity shutdown begins.

Consumers should complete important electricity-related activities before 8:00am.

Businesses relying heavily on electricity may also need alternative arrangements during the scheduled outage.

Backup systems can help maintain essential operations during the six-hour Power interruption.

Residents may also consider charging mobile phones, laptops and other necessary devices beforehand.

LESCO has asked consumers to plan their daily activities around the announced schedule.

Electricity Supply to Resume After Work

The electricity company said supply will be restored after the required work is completed.

The announced restoration time is 2:00pm, based on the scheduled maintenance period.

However, residents should keep the planned outage in mind while arranging their Sunday activities.

The temporary suspension is specifically related to work involving the Data Darbar and Kacheri Road projects.

LESCO has also requested cooperation from consumers while teams complete the necessary work.

The scheduled Power shutdown may particularly affect households, shops and other businesses connected to the two feeders.

Consumers in other parts of Lahore should check whether their electricity connection falls under the affected feeders.

For residents served by Urdu Bazaar and Kacheri Road feeders, preparations should be completed before 8:00am on September 20.
