The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) recently conducted a series of successful operations in Balochistan’s Gwadar district, leading to the seizure of a significant cache of weapons, narcotics, and alcohol. Acting on intelligence reports, PCG raided the Musa Goth area, where they seized 226 Glock pistols, 34 Beretta pistols, 145 30-bore pistols, and 140 extra magazines.

These weapons were suspected to be intended for terrorist activities, and legal proceedings are underway.

In a separate operation in the Gadani area, the PCG recovered 959 bottles of foreign liquor and 2,203 cans of beer. Additionally, a raid in Gwadar led to the confiscation of 332 kilograms of hashish. In Winder and Othal, PCG seized 44.5 kilograms of heroin hidden in a house and bushes, resulting in the arrest of two suspects.

The total value of the seized liquor and heroin is estimated to be 60 million rupees in the international market. These operations are part of the PCG’s ongoing efforts to combat illicit activities in Balochistan, where they have previously seized large quantities of drugs, including 2,000 kilograms of narcotics in Pasni, valued at $34.241 million in the global market.

These operations reflect the Pakistan Coast Guards’ continued success in curbing smuggling and terrorist activities in the region.
