In the Northwestern Pakistan, Swat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a man was burned alive by an enraged mob over accusations of blasphemy. The incident occurred in the Madyan area on Thursday night, confirmed by local police.
Initially arrested by KP police, the blasphemy suspect was forcibly taken from the Madyan police station by a group of people. The mob also set fire to the police station, resulting in injuries to eight officers.

According to police reports, the suspect was tortured before being set on fire, leading to his immediate death at the scene. KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has taken notice of the incident and demanded a detailed report from law enforcement.
A similar incident occurred recently in Sargodha, where a Christian man, Nazir Masih, was attacked by a mob on allegations of blasphemy. Nazir Masih, aged 72, suffered severe head injuries during the violence on May 25 and subsequently passed away despite undergoing surgeries at a hospital in Rawalpindi.
His burial in Sargodha was conducted under heavy security measures. District police have filed cases against 500 individuals involved in attacking Masih’s residence. The violence erupted after locals claimed to have found burnt pages of the Holy Quran near Masih’s home and accused his son of the act.
