Lahore: PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz has called for “next-level governance” in Punjab, urging officials to raise the bar on performance, transparency, and service delivery across the province.
At a high-profile meeting with key party figures and government officials, Maryam emphasized the need for efficient administrative systems, better public-facility management, and active citizen engagement. She highlighted that the government must focus on long-term development, not just political gains.
She also stressed the importance of waiting for accountability and results, stating that true governance means delivering on promises, ensuring good infrastructure, and maintaining fiscal discipline.
Maryam’s call comes amid growing expectations that Punjab should lead by example in public-sector reform and development ahead of upcoming elections.
