Six fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to extinguish the fire, with officials confirming that an electrical short circuit was the cause of the incident.
“The fire was triggered by a short circuit,” stated Muhammad Zahid, the Ramzan Bazaar in-charge. “Authorities, including the Deputy Commissioner, have been informed about the damages, and an assessment report is being prepared to evaluate losses and potential compensation.”
Although the fire caused extensive destruction, resulting in financial losses worth millions, no casualties were reported.
