A murder case has been filed against former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, cricketer Shakib Al Hasan, and actor Ferdous Ahmed, all former Awami League MPs.
The complaint was lodged by Rafiqul Islam, the father of Rubel, a deceased garment worker, at the Adabor police station in Dhaka.

The case names Shakib as the 28th accused and Ferdous as the 55th, with Sheikh Hasina, former minister Obaidul Quader, and 154 others also listed, along with 400-500 unidentified individuals.
The allegations state that on August 5, Rubel was shot during a protest on Ring Road, and he died from his injuries on August 7.
