NADRA Introduces New Key Service For Vehicle Sale And Purchase

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new digital service, making it easier for citizens to verify vehicle details. NADRA brings this innovation in partnership with the Sindh government, aiming to streamline the vehicle registration process.

Through the Pak ID mobile application, users can now check a vehicleโ€™s credentials from home. Once verified, they can continue the remaining registration steps at the relevant provincial departments. The move is designed to reduce travel and waiting times for citizens.

For further guidance, NADRA encourages people to visit its official website or contact the helpline at 1777. The initiative reflects NADRAโ€™s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and improved citizen services.

Earlier, NADRA brings similar convenience to its identity services through a pilot project in selected e-Sahulat franchises. This program allows citizens to reprint lost Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and renew expired CNICs at community-level centers.

The pilot phase has been implemented at 18 e-Sahulat franchises across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi. By offering these services closer to residents, NADRA aims to reduce congestion at its main registration centers while ensuring access to essential identity services.

In Karachi, several e-Sahulat franchises have been designated for these services. Locations include Shah Latif Sahulat Center in Malir City, Universal Computer Zone in Korangi No. 6, Hashmi Communication at Al Azam Square, and Gul Photo Studio in Maripur. Additional franchises include Tazeem International in Gulistan-e-Johar, Mehboob Communication near Water Pump, Uzair Printer Documentation in Sarjani Town, and Shaukat General Store in Orangi Town.

With this initiative, NADRA brings both convenience and efficiency to vehicle registration and identity services. Citizens can complete essential tasks faster and more conveniently, whether verifying a vehicle or renewing their CNIC.

These efforts highlight NADRAโ€™s role in adopting technology to simplify public access to critical services and enhance user experience across Pakistan.
