NADRA Expands Digital Union Council Services to Tando Allahyar and Jamshoro

ISLAMABAD – The National Database and Registration Authority has expanded its digital registration services in Sindh. The new facility is now available in Tando Allahyar and Jamshoro. This step aims to improve access to Union Council services for citizens.

According to NADRA, the service is offered through the Pak ID mobile application. The system allows people to register key life events online. These include births, deaths, marriages, and divorces. Citizens can now avoid visiting Union Council offices.

This expansion is part of the Digital Union Council initiative. The program was already active in several cities of Sindh. With the latest update, more residents can benefit from online registration. NADRA says the goal is to make services easier and faster.

Under the new system, applicants can complete the full process at home. Users must download the Pak-Identity Mobile App. They can then fill out required forms and upload documents. Applications are submitted digitally through the app.

Once approved, certificates are issued without in-person visits. This reduces long queues and paperwork. It also saves time and travel costs for citizens. NADRA believes this method increases transparency.

The Digital Union Council system also improves record management. Automated processing reduces human error. It ensures accurate and timely data entry. Officials say this helps build a reliable national database.

NADRA confirmed that work is ongoing to expand the service further. The authority plans to cover more districts soon. The long-term goal is province-wide access across Sindh. Citizens in remote areas are expected to benefit the most.

The automated system was developed with provincial government support. It follows directives from the Federal Minister for Interior. The initiative is part of wider reforms in public service delivery.

Officials say the new system promotes digital governance. It supports efficiency and accountability. The process also reduces delays often faced in manual systems.

The Digital Union Council project reflects the government’s focus on modernization. It aims to simplify essential services for citizens. NADRA says feedback from users has been positive so far.

With this expansion, residents of Tando Allahyar and Jamshoro now have improved access. The service is expected to ease administrative burdens. It also strengthens trust in digital public services.

NADRA encourages citizens to use the Pak ID app. The authority advises users to ensure correct information. Accurate data helps speed up processing and approval.
