The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made its services more accessible by expanding to over 2,000 e-sahulat franchise locations nationwide.
Citizens can now renew their CNICs or apply for a replacement for lost identity cards at a sahulat franchise close to their home. This expansion reduces the need to visit central NADRA offices, making services faster and more convenient.
According to NADRA, a complete list of all e-sahulat franchises is available online, helping citizens find the nearest location easily. The initiative ensures that NADRA services reach urban and rural areas alike.
In addition to CNIC services, NADRA has introduced new digital solutions through the Pak-ID mobile application. Citizens can now apply for birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates directly from home. This eliminates long queues and in-person visits to Union Councils.
To support users, NADRA released a step-by-step video guide explaining how to apply for a divorce certificate via the Pak-ID app. However, only applicants who already possess a manual divorce certificate issued by the Arbitration Council or relevant Union Council can apply through the app.
The authority emphasized that obtaining a divorce certificate after completing legal separation is mandatory. This digital solution ensures compliance while providing convenience.
Officials said the expansion to sahulat franchises demonstrates NADRAโs commitment to improving public access to vital services. Citizens can now complete essential documentation processes with minimal effort and travel.
With more than 2,000 sahulat franchises operational, NADRA aims to bring identity and civil registration services closer to the people, strengthening accessibility and efficiency nationwide.
