The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised parents to update their children’s B-Forms to ensure smooth official record management.
According to NADRA, parents whose children have recently turned three should promptly apply for a new B-Form. The previous B-Form expires when a child reaches this age, and a photo B-Form becomes necessary for official documentation, including school admissions.
Parents can apply for a new children’s B-Form in two ways. They can visit a NADRA office in person with their child or conveniently apply online through the Pak ID mobile application. This digital option allows parents to complete the process without leaving home.
NADRA emphasized that updating children’s B-Forms on time helps avoid delays during school enrollment and ensures that all official records are accurate. The authority encourages parents to act promptly and not wait until the last moment.
In addition to B-Forms, NADRA has introduced a new digital facility for citizens. Residents can now complete biometric verification for buying and selling Islamabad-registered vehicles using the Pak ID app. Previously, citizens had to visit NADRA offices and wait in long queues for physical verification. The new system allows verification from home before completing vehicle transfer formalities at the relevant government office.
NADRA also reminds citizens to collect their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) promptly after issuance. Cards not collected within three months are disposed of according to policy, requiring a new application and fee for reissuance.
Furthermore, citizens are urged to cancel CNICs of deceased family members to maintain accurate national records.
By updating children’s B-Forms and other official documents on time, NADRA ensures smoother administrative processes and avoids unnecessary complications for families.
