NayaPay has introduced global QR payments for Pakistani users through a new partnership with Alipay+, the international mobile payment network operated by Ant International. With this launch, millions of NayaPay users can now scan and pay at Alipay+ supported merchants in more than 50 countries.
This new feature allows Pakistanis to make secure payments abroad with lower costs and a smooth checkout experience. NayaPay users can now access a wide global network that covers shopping, restaurants, transport, healthcare, entertainment, and other services. Alipay+ currently connects 40 international payment partners to over 150 million merchants worldwide.
The launch strengthens NayaPay’s goal of offering world-class digital payment solutions in Pakistan. The platform already provides Visa debit cards, international money transfers, local payments, bill settlements, and home remittance services. With global QR acceptance now included, NayaPay continues to expand its range of financial tools for both consumers and businesses.
NayaPay CEO Danish A. Lakhani said the company aims to give Pakistanis the same financial freedom enjoyed in advanced global markets. He noted that the new feature will help travelers, students, and professionals by making international payments simple, accessible, and affordable.
Pan Yan, Head of Strategic Partnership Office for Alipay+, said that platforms like NayaPay are transforming how people travel and interact with global merchants. She added that the collaboration will make it easier for Pakistanis to explore new destinations while using a secure and familiar payment method.

The partnership between Alipay+ and NayaPay first began in early 2024, when NayaPay became Pakistan’s first fintech to allow QR payments at more than 80 million merchants in China. This latest expansion now brings the same seamless experience to markets worldwide, giving Pakistanis broader acceptance, better convenience, and improved cost-efficiency for international transactions.
