People’s Party leader Nayyar Bukhari on Monday advised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to conduct its political activities within the limits of the constitution. He emphasized that constitutional politics would benefit the country and its citizens.
Speaking to the media, Nayyar Bukhari said it is up to the PTI to decide whether it wants to engage in dialogue. He highlighted that both the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto and the Prime Minister have extended offers for dialogue.
Quoting Bilawal Bhutto, Nayyar Bukhari stated that the PPP is committed to playing a long-term political role alongside the people. He stressed that reconciliation and dialogue are essential, especially during tense political situations that can harm the nation and its citizens.
“Pakistan People’s Party has always followed the politics of reconciliation,” Nayyar Bukhari said. He added that only through dialogue and understanding can the country move forward and overcome political challenges.
The PPP leader also pointed out the lack of internal harmony within PTI ranks. He suggested that political differences within parties should be resolved through peaceful and constitutional means rather than confrontational approaches.
Nayyar Bukhari’s remarks come amid ongoing political tensions in the country. He encouraged all political parties to prioritize national interests and work toward solutions that strengthen democracy.
