Former MNA Nisar Panhwar has returned home, the Sindh High Court (SHC) was informed on Saturday. Police confirmed that Nisar Panhwar and another political worker, Anwar Tareen, have safely reached their residences.
The report was submitted during the hearing of missing petitions filed for both individuals. The petitions were lodged after Nisar Panhwar and Anwar Tareen went missing from the Sachal police station jurisdiction. Families of both had approached the SHC, requesting urgent action.
Following confirmation of their return, the SHC dismissed the missing petitions. Authorities confirmed that both citizens are safe and no further legal action is required regarding their disappearance.
Nisar Panhwar is a notable political figure in Sindh. He served as a member of the National Assembly from 2003 to 2007. He also held a seat in the Sindh Provincial Assembly from 2008 to 2013, representing his constituency during two significant political terms.
Police emphasized that the situation has been resolved peacefully, and both Nisar Panhwar and Anwar Tareen are back with their families. The authorities also highlighted the cooperation between the police and families in locating the missing individuals.
