On Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aliya Hamza stated that only Imran Khan, the party’s founder, has given a strong and appropriate response to India.
While addressing the media outside an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore, Aliya expressed concern over the tense situation along the border. She questioned the rationale behind holding a protest in Sindh at such a critical time, saying, “We are not worried about the challenges facing PTI leadership, but the border tensions are alarming, and in such a scenario, organizing protests is questionable.”

Aliya also pointed out that while PTI is being urged to act in the nation’s interest and display unity, there has been no initiative from the government’s side to release political prisoners. She emphasized the need for collective efforts to stabilize the country.
She further criticized recent actions against PTI, stating, “Yesterday, homes of PTI leaders were raided in Rawalpindi. At a time when Pakistan is already struggling with political instability, such actions only worsen the situation. What the country truly needs now is unity and a shared commitment to national solidarity.”
