Pakistan’s security forces have killed two more militants during the ongoing Operation Shaaban in Balochistan. The latest action was carried out jointly by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police as part of continued efforts against militant groups operating in the region.

According to security sources, the operation involved coordinated ground and aerial missions targeting militant hideouts and suspected positions. Officials said the forces acted on intelligence and launched effective strikes against members of the group identified as Fitna al-Khawarij.

The latest operation resulted in the deaths of two more militants. Security officials also confirmed that a militant vehicle was successfully targeted during the operation. The action caused further losses to the militant network operating in the area.

With the latest development, the number of militants killed during Operation Shaaban has increased to 85. Security officials said the operation remains active and forces continue conducting search and clearance activities in affected areas.

Authorities stated that the joint operation is being carried out with close coordination among the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and local police. The objective is to eliminate militant threats and restore peace in the region.

Officials said both ground troops and aerial assets are being used to locate and engage militant hideouts. Intelligence-based planning has played an important role in the ongoing campaign.

Security sources added that the militants suffered significant losses during the recent engagements. The destruction of a militant vehicle was also described as a major operational success.

In addition to Operation Shaaban, security agencies have continued intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across different parts of the province. These operations are aimed at disrupting militant networks and preventing future attacks.

According to security officials, a total of 123 militants have been killed since July through Operation Shaaban and various intelligence-based operations. The figure includes militants eliminated during joint military actions as well as targeted operations based on intelligence reports.

The ongoing campaign reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to improve security in Balochistan. Authorities have maintained that coordinated action remains necessary to counter militant activity and protect local communities.

Security forces continue to monitor the situation closely while expanding operations wherever intelligence identifies militant movement or hideouts. Officials said the mission will continue until the operational objectives are fully achieved.

The Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and police have reiterated their commitment to maintaining law and order across the province. They also emphasized that operations are being conducted with careful planning and coordination to improve regional security.
