The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) announced that more than 500,000 citizens used the Pak ID app to obtain identity documents during October and November 2025.
According to NADRAโs official Facebook page, over 270,000 citizens applied for CNICs through the Pak ID app, while more than 70,000 obtained Family Registration Certificates. Additionally, over 49,000 NICOPs and more than 83,000 B-Forms were processed via the mobile platform.
The Pak ID app allows users to apply for essential identity documents from their smartphones, reducing the need to visit NADRA offices physically. The app streamlines application processes, making identity services more accessible and convenient for all citizens.
NADRA continues to provide special facilities for persons with disabilities. The authority ensures that no individual is deprived of identity documentation, regardless of their disability. Special services include executive category processing without queues, wheelchair access at offices, priority tokens, and appointment booking via the mobile app or helpline.
The authority also issues special identification cards for persons with disabilities. These cards are free for the first time and valid for life. So far, over 1 million such ID cards with a distinctive mark have been issued across Pakistan.
NADRAโs initiative through the Pak ID app highlights the governmentโs commitment to digital transformation and accessibility. The app simplifies applications for CNICs, NICOPs, Family Registration Certificates, and B-Forms, allowing citizens to manage their documents efficiently.
With continuous updates and user-friendly features, the Pak ID app is expected to further enhance service delivery. NADRA emphasizes that all citizens, including persons with disabilities, should benefit from modern digital tools to access identity services conveniently.
